Here at Norris Sugarworks we are proud
of the high quality and sweet clean taste of our pure maple syrup.We are equally as proud to be the third generation of Norris'
to produce maple syrup from this stand of maple trees, located high in the hills of south Starksboro, Vermont.We call this
stand of trees the sugarbush.My grand parents first started tapping these trees in the 1940's, then my folks took over the
annual tapping rights in the 1950's,and then in the 1990's, it was our turn.So around the middle of january each year, we
start preparing for the annual sap run which usually begins in early march and ends whenever it wants to, usually in early
april.
